Speakers in all flavours
The speaking world changed fundamentally when Covid disrupted the normal pattern of the world. Online presentations are now viewed as comparable to in-person events. Fees reflect much more of the value of the work rather than the flamboyance of the event. And everyone with some expertise and a webcam thinks that they can become a speaker.
That makes real professional and aspiring professional speakers, so much more valuable, if they can home their craft and focus on the client’s and the audiences’ needs.
Speaker Coaching - Strategic Speaker
While self-improvement is valuable, professional coaching can significantly accelerate your progress as a speaker.
Investing in coaching can help you avoid common pitfalls, build confidence faster, and achieve your speaking goals more efficiently. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your speaking career to the next level, professional guidance can be the catalyst that transforms you from a good speaker into a great one.
I offer the Strategic Speaker Coaching Programme, drawn from my worldwide experience and the learnings from my speaker network around the world.
Red Jacket Speaker Bureau
The goal of many speakers is to be listed on a speaker bureau site and have someone find work for them. Just a little time in the speaking world will take the shine off that dream. Bureaus exist to serve conference clients and speakers are the products they sell.
Which is why a group of speaker colleagues started the Red Jacket Speaker Bureau – a bureau serving the needs of the speaker first.
Listed Red Jacket speakers have access to learning, support, masterminds, boot camps and more.
Red Jacket is owned and managed by Voices Into Africa, of which I am a partner.
Speaker Association Membership
Professional Speaker Associations exist around the world to serve the needs of their professional colleagues. Once associations reach a level of maturity they apply to join the Global Speakers Federation, the world wide body serving the associations and their leaders, while the associations themselves, serve the local speakers.
I have served as President of both the Global Speakers Federation as well as my home association, the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa.
